Why did the Indians (sorry(not really)native Americans) fail to beat the invading whites? At first there where more of them, they knew they land better, they where more mobile, and in general better fighters. with such a set up it should have been an easy victory. What did they do wrong?

they were divided amongst themselves.
Also- inferior technology.
And Louis would add, they thought only of battles, but not of the extened campaign of a war.
Superior firepower baby!
Actually, I really believe that God had plans for this country and it was the USA. Our tactics were not always righteous, we are still people, and that makes us flawed. But the nation we got out of this land is like nothing that has ever been seen before, and it is awesome.
On the other hand, the Indians did not love the Lord, and they mostly were a warlike people that fought each other, and treated their women and children as property, etc... Like I said, we had some of those problems (Slavery? Trail of Tears?) But I think we had God on our side, because he knew what this nation could be and would one day be.
Too bad Ofartma is going to screw it up for us!
Don't blame Obama, blame the dumbbungs that voted for him. This is still a government by the people.
