am i missing some thing

ok, so this FOCA(freedom of choice act) thing. from what i have heard, its bad bad bad. i sounds like it lifts any and all restriction on abortion. any thing with no restriction is bad. for example, prescription drugs are usually a good thing(at least they used to be), but with no restriction you would have massive(way more than now) abuse. i have also caught wind of the government planning to lift the morality/conscience clause for abortion. so doctors that work at a hospital that performs abortions that think its wrong will be essentially forced to do the procedure any way. what is kinda(more than kinda) nuts about that is that the oath they take to become a doctor says "do no harm". the government will be forcing people to break the oath they made them take. it sounds to me like we(we, as in some liberal segments of our society) are trying to increase the number of abortions being preformed in stead of finding ways to prevent it. i was just wandering what you all had heard. like i said it sounds bad to me.

I heard about the forcing people to give abortions, and I sent a letter to the president. The American Family Association is all over it, so hopefully millions of e-mails sent to the president will do SOMETHING. The AFA has made big companies back down from pro-gay propaganda (including McDonald's), so maybe they can do something about this.

Not that we would hear about the outcry from the liberal media!

Oops, Timpani not Erik ;)

Yeah Erik, you would think this would be somewhat more in the news. The bias is ... startling.

*sigh* I hate obama.

did you hear that the calli supreem cort is hearing arguments agenst prop 8. basically the idea i get it that the people dont get to make up there own minds what they want the law to be. that a cort can bassically say "no no, you arent smart enough to make these desitions. we have to make then for you because you might be wrong." if the government starts to over rool the will of the people we are in a lot of trouble.

After a day of mourning I put my political views aside for the sake of supporting the president. I was hoping he'd do a better job than I expected.

Wrong! Does he really want to be know as a baby-killing president? FOCA is so, so wrong. Catholic hosptials said they'd close down before performing abortions. So did the Baptists. We have to make ourselves heard on this. I'm all about writing letters. This cannont be allowed to happen without a hard-core fight.

This is where all Christian denominations need to come together. We don't have time to argue doctrine. We have to work together or this country is gonna fall apart sooner rather than later.

The Prop 8 thing is mind blowing. We're watching our Democratic Republic being undermined by a corrupt Justice system.

I always thought the "support the president" thing was pointless. Crush your enemies.

You know, the original abortion supporters (Margaret Sanger and her ilk) liked abortion as a way to control the population of black people, whom she liked to call "human weeds." Abortion, aside from the morality issue of murdering babies, is an insidious attempt to keep the downtrodden in their place. Although, they like to claim that's what we're trying to do.
